The Lagos State Civil Society Participation for development, LACSOP, the umbrella body for Civil Society Organizations, CSOs in Lagos, is set to hold its 2021 Annual General Meeting, AGM with the aim of harnessing voices towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Announcing the AGM, LACSOP’s Executive Secretary, Ms. Dede Kadiri noted that the event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021.

Ms. Kadiri said, “every Nigerian now lives in a world shocked by the Corona Virus Pandemic; loss of confidence in government and unrest. We are dealing with corruption, high levels of insecurity and a threat of legislations that have reduced civic space and diminished voices of those who desperately need to be heard.

“This AGM is to ensure that voices are heard with the aim of achieving the SDGs,” she added.
