Yobe Governor Assures Corp Members Of Adequate Security

Batch C, Stream 1 Corpers deployed to Yobe State for their one year National Youth Service Scheme have been assured of adequate Security and Welfare throughout their stay in the State.
His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni; Executive Governor of Yobe State gave the assurance while delivering an address at the swearing-in of the Corp members in the state, affirming that utmost security and welfare will be provided to them.
At the course of the swearing-in on the parade ground of the orientation camp at College of Administrative and Business Studies (CABS), Potiskum, Yobe State, the Governor told the corpers his administration recognises the importance of youth and their abilities to bring a change and pragmatic policy and strategic roles in the development process.
He furthered assured that necessary appropriation will be provided to the corps members in other to sustain their gains.
Mai Mala charged the corpers to surpass their predecessors by serving with dedication, commitment and humility, informing them that Rural Communities rely on the service of corps members in schools, hospitals, among other fields of professions.
The corpers were told to  integrate with their various host communities and participate actively in their developmental efforts.
Mai Mala noted that efforts is underway to make available beneficial interventions that will increase the skills,self confidence and self-sufficiency to improve youth lives.
The governor confirmed that New Orientation Camp is under renovation by contractors, hence will be opened to Next batch coming into the states for their youth service.
