Even though I have not been a supporter of the #bbnaija show, however as someone who is always interested in knowing happening around me, I follow discussions and highlights of the show online with much interest.
Over time I have asked questions about this name sake of mine Laycon, I have wanted to know what makes him different and why does it seem as if everyone in my contact are all rooting for him, at a point it felt like he was the only housemate left in the house and others were invisible.
My question met with similar responses as a lot of people said he is smart, intelligent and also confident. Hmmmm!
Well these qualities aren’t that lacking in other housemates as such but what makes him that spectacular to the point were people gave free Recharge cards, while some even cooked food to serve people for free?
Well to drive home my point, I have been asking myself that if this same Laycon was to contest for a leadership position in governing a state in Nigeria, how many young people would have rooted for him the way they did during the #bbnaija show?
How many entertainers won’t sell themselves cheap to get money from those embezzling the common wealth of this nation but would be ready to throw their weight behind the drum stick looking guy to be in government?
How many votes would he have gotten from the youth populated nation of Nigeria to bring about a new order to our governance, thereby driving the nation to a new direction of realistic change?
How many people would stay under the sun, or rain to cast their votes for a young Nigerian to kick out the leaders we have been recycling since 1960?
How united would the youths have been against the political gladiators without being the weapon of mass destruction to keep damaging the future of this nation?
How much would the youths have contributed to support and campaign for a young man or woman to get into leadership position?
Would you have voted a young Nigerian the way you voted for Laycon at #bbnaija Season 5?
2023 is near, it is only right we start getting sense to a better Nigeria that we want
CONGRATULATION TO LAYCON!!
