Two step brothers, Oluwatomilola Akinsola and Odunayo Akinsola have reportedly fled their father’s home in the Ajah area of Lagos State after Oluwatomilola Akinsola allegedly lost his father’s lottery (baba Ijebu) ticket.

While recounting the incident, Mrs. Adedoyin Adedayo, the mother of Oluwatomilola Akinsola explained that her ex-husband’s (Oluwatomilola’s father) mother called her on February 7th to inform her that Oluwatomilola has been missing since February 4th, 2022.

Mrs. Adedayo who expressed displeasure that she didn’t receive any information that her son was missing until after 3 days explained that, “Tomilola was living with me before he went to join his father on January 6, 2022. If I’d known this would happen, I wouldn’t have released him.”

She explained that she received the report that Oluwatomilola and his step brother who are about the same age of 16, have not returned back home since they fled the house on February 4th.

I have been to the Police Station in Ajah and also to the Ajah Palace but I’ve not seen him till now. I don’t know why he fled the house and even if he was being maltreated, I’d expected that he would call me because he knows my phone number off-hand,” Mrs. Adedayo lamented.

Mrs. Adedayo, who mentioned that her son has growth hormone deficiency which makes him look younger than his age, appealed that anyone who knows his whereabouts should report to the nearest police station.
