Mrs Adesunmbo Adeoye, Mofolusade Sonaike (popularly known as Mumpreneur) and host of other speakers have been lined up to speak at the 5th anniversary of The Total Woman Conference in Lagos State.

TTWC, which was put together by JOINValue Initiative, is an annual event targeted towards ladies in tertiary institutions, school leavers, young professionals and entrepreneurs with the aim of inspiring these young women to live a chaste, focused and purposeful life.

JOINValue is a Non-Governmental Organisation that seeks to impact lives of young women positively and also addresses issues of low self-esteem, social vices such as abuse of substances, sex and lack of purpose amongst young people. We do this by organizing target-oriented programmes monthly, quarterly and annually.

The 5th anniversary tagged “While You Wait”, according to Ogbonnaya Chichi, the Convener of TTWC, is designed to motivate and challenge women to be a change agent in their society and in the country as a whole.

“The aim is to inspire these young women to live a Chaste, Focused and Purposeful life. The theme “While You Wait” was inspired by the conveners several interactions with several young women and girls who are clueless about how to maximize their “waiting season” and those who fall into depression due to the “seemingly silent seasons” of their life,” Chichi said.

“Every woman has the capacity to make a difference, but very few are exposed to the knowledge of how they can make a difference.

“The Total Woman Conference will equip ladies with the knowledge and confidence needed to achieve great success in their waiting period in life,” she added.

Abutu Ephraim, Chairman, Planning Committee, said participants at the conference would be tutored on how to reinvent and take practical steps in standing out and taking leverage of current economical condition of the country in becoming successful.

“This year marks the 5th edition. Get ready to learn and reinvent yourself in your ‘Waiting Season’, said Ephraim as he added, “there will be mentorship opportunity and one-on-one session with Sunmbo, Gbemisola Ogunrinde and Mumpreneur.”

The Total Woman Conference 2019 will hold at theBUNKer, 279, Herbert Macaulay Way, Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos. Interested participants can click the link to register bit.ly/RegisterTWC2019
