The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), His Majesty Chapel under Lagos Province 38 Region 1, has supported 12 women with a sum of N25, 000 each to boost their small businesses.

Speaking while presenting the cheque to the beneficiaries during the family service on Sunday, the Pastor in charge of the parish, Samson Ajayi, explained that the token was given to support the members who are into small scale businesses.

According to him, this is part of our Christian Social Responsibility (CSR) and our own little way to impact members’ lives, especially now that things are costly coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected businesses in the country.

Ajayi, therefore, urged the beneficiaries to use the token given to them judiciously.

The beneficiaries were so elated with the kind gesture of the church to support their businesses.

Osuoha Ifeyinwa Thelma, one of the beneficiaries, appreciated the church for such lofty initiative.

She said, “In fact, I’m really happy and grateful to the church of God for the support they have given me toward my business; it only shows that they want me to grow and improve in whatever I’m currently doing. May the Lord continually enrich the purses of the sponsors in Jesus name”.

Mrs Bukola Adelani, who also benefited from the gesture, said, “I am amazed at the grant given to my business. I blessed God and sincerely appreciate the pastorate for this wonderful empowerment. Nothing is too small to add to business; even a thousand naira can buy more than 7 bags of sachet(pure) water and still profit over N350.

“The N25,000 is a lot, and I appreciate it. I pray that God will replenish the pocket that this comes out from”.
