THE LESOTHO PRIME MINISTER ELECT, TOM THABANE HAS LOST HIS WIFE AHEAD OF HIS INAUGURATION TOMORROW.
 
THE WIFE OF THE LESOTHO’S OPPOSITION LEADER, LIPOLELO THABANE, WAS KILLED BY AN UNKNOWN GUNMAN WHILE TRAVELLING HOME IN THE TOWN OF MASANA,
 
POLICE SPOKEMAN, CLIFFORD MOLEFE SAID, THE MOTIVE OF THE SHOOTING WAS STILL UNCLEAR AND INVESTIGATIONS WERE ONGOING.
 
THE INCOMING PRIME MINISTER THABANE AND HIS WIFE HAD BEEN LIVING SEPARATELY SINCE 2012. THABANE HAD FILED FOR DIVORCE, BUT IT HAD NOT YET BEEN GRANTED BY THE COURTS.
