Katebridge Impact Advisory has launched in Nigeria with a focus on helping organizations move beyond measuring activities to understanding and demonstrating meaningful social impact.
The launch comes as businesses, foundations, philanthropists and development organisations across Nigeria face rising expectations to prove the effectiveness, sustainability and accountability of their social investments.
According to the firm, the challenge for many organizations extends beyond committing resources to determining whether those resources are producing the intended change.
Katebridge was established to address this gap.
The impact advisory firm works with organizations to design, execute, measure and communicate social impact initiatives, with services spanning CSR Strategy and Execution, Philanthropy Advisory, Community Impact Programmes, and Impact Measurement and Learning.
Its core proposition is that social impact investment should be evaluated by what changes, not simply by what is delivered.
The firm noted that for decades, social programmes have often been assessed through indicators such as beneficiaries reached, activities completed and funds deployed, adding that while these measures remain useful, they offer only part of the picture.
Katebridge said its approach places greater emphasis on outcomes, evidence and learning, helping organizations and individuals understand the relationship between their investment and the change it seeks to create.
This means asking more fundamental questions about whether the intervention addressed the problem it was designed to address, what changed for the people and communities involved, what contributed to that change, what can be sustained, and what should inform the next investment.

The founding team brings experience across international development, public policy, programme management, community development, strategic communications, research and learning.
Karo Omu, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, brings experience in programme management, social impact strategy, community development and stakeholder engagement, and is also the founder of Sanitary Aid Initiative.
Temidayo Musa, Co-Founder, brings experience spanning international development, humanitarian emergencies, public policy, strategic communications, research and learning, with exposure to global development practice and using technology to deliver social services and make governance work for the people.
“The conversation around social investment is evolving. Organizations are increasingly being asked to demonstrate not only what they have invested, but what that investment has achieved,” the founders said.
Katebridge’s initial focus will be Nigeria and the wider West African region, where organizations are navigating complex social and economic challenges alongside increasing expectations for responsible and accountable investment.
The firm plans to contribute to the ecosystem beyond advisory engagements through research, knowledge sharing and thought leadership on emerging issues in social impact.
Its flagship publication, “Measuring What Matters: The Impact Investment Landscape Report 2026,” is set to examine the evolving impact landscape and the role of data evidence, measurement and accountability in shaping more effective social investment.
Katebridge will also explore major impact challenges across areas including maternal and public healthcare, youth unemployment, climate resilience, financial inclusion, food security, youth development, and sanitation.
