I Will Ensure Delivery Of Dividends Of Democracy To Emure – New Monarch

Otunba Adesegun Bolaji-Alowonle, the new Elemuren of Emuren town, Ogun State has promised to work with the Ogun State government with the aim of achieving delivery of dividends of democracy to residents of the town.
Alowonle made this known while giving his acceptance speech after he had been announced as the new Oba Elect of Emure town.
Alowonle who said he is delighted about his emergence as the Oba elect of the Town promised to work for the interest of the community.
He said “traditional rulers are subjects to the community and I will work with the people and deliver their message to the government of the day”.
He described his role as that of a servant whose interest is to ensure everyone is satisfied. He explained that “my role is to serve the people and I am ready to work with everybody to move the community forward”.
While announcing the emergence of the new Oba, the Olisa of Emuren Town in Shagamu Local Government, Chief Nosiru Tayo explained that Otunba Alowonle  was among the seven candidates, who were nominated by the members of the Owuyo ruling House, whose turn is to provide the next monarch of the town.
Nosiru appealed to other Obaship contestants to remain calm and join hands with the Oba elect to move the community forward.
