The outreach which was conducted for women to help them know their health status also featured different sessions on health talks and staying healthy.

Taubah Falade, the Executive Director of HopeWin, who was represented by Fahm Basirat explained that the outreach was organized as parts of efforts to allay the fears of women who do not seek medical attention because of fear of the unknown and fear of paying exorbitant medical fees.

One of the medical practitioner in attendance, Dr. Mariam Oshodi, a Public Health Physician stressed that, “being healthy isn’t about being physically fit alone” adding that “taking drugs is not the solution to all illnesses”

Dr. Oshodi however advised the beneficiary to watch what they eat, avoid late night meals, take fruits and exercise regularly.

The beneficiaries were elated and appreciated the organization as they were able to clarify issues related to their health statuses.

“The outreach was impactful because I got to know things related to calculating BMI and got enlightened about menopause symptoms”, a beneficiary, Rahman Titilayo Monsurat opined.

Commending the initiative, Oba of Ojodu town, Oba Samuel Olusegun Shobowale Benson appreciated HopeWin for conducting the medical outreach, noting that it is beneficial to residents of the community.
