The Get Healthy Africa Initiative (GHAi), led by Fresh FM personality Faysol Oluwakemi, has been awarded a prestigious grant by LEAP Africa and the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), with funding from the Ford Foundation.

According to a press release made available to BONews Service by GHAI, the grant will support the organization’s youth-focused project, which aims to enhance digital advocacy, transparency, and accountability to promote a healthier Nigeria and achieve #TheNigeriaWeWant.

In the next coming months, the GHAi team will implement this project in Osun State, focusing on engaging and educating the community about essential health practices. Oluwakemi invites the public to follow the organization on social media @ghaiafrica for updates on the project’s progress.

GHAi is a youth-led, non-profit organization based in Ibadan, Nigeria. It focuses on promoting health, social well-being, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) among underprivileged populations across Africa. Through advocacy, community engagement, public policy, and diverse media platforms, GHAi aims to improve lives and foster a healthier Africa.
