As part of its transformative initiatives, Hindsight Development Organisation, a youth-focused, non-governmental, non-profit organisation dedicated to cultivating a new generation of African leaders across all sectors, is set to host its 2025 Teens Vacation Leadership Program.
Scheduled to hold this August, the leadership program is designed to empower teenagers and pre-teens aged 10 to 18 with the skills and mindset to become impactful leaders in their communities and beyond.
For twenty years and still counting, the organization focuses on equipping children, teenagers, and young adults with core leadership values and practical skills. Through school-based leadership clubs in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions across Nigeria, Hindsight works to instill character, self-awareness, and civic responsibility in young people.
Rooted in its mission to transform Nigeria and, ultimately, the African continent into a society grounded in equity, quality education, and sustainable livelihoods, Hindsight integrates education, social progress, and empowerment into its programs.
The upcoming Vacation Leadership Program, themed LEADYOUNG, reflects this mission by offering a hands-on leadership development experience for teenagers and pre-teens aged 10 to 18.
Slated to run from August 11 to 22, 2025, the program will take place on the Lagos Mainland, with both online and physical participation options available.
Designed as an immersive learning environment, LEADYOUNG will engage participants in interactive workshops, real-world challenges, and mentorship sessions that promote confidence, communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence.
The program will prioritise personal growth, helping young people build self-awareness and resilience while learning to collaborate and think critically.
Group activities and practical leadership exercises will simulate real-life scenarios, allowing participants to develop problem-solving abilities and explore the dynamics of effective leadership.
The programme is expected to attract teenagers from diverse backgrounds, reflecting Hindsight’s broader vision of inclusive progress and opportunity for all.
