David Awotipe has been appointed as the Director General of the ODU’A Chambers of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture, ODU’ACCIMA.
ODU’ACCIMA consists of Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Oyo States chambers and is responsible for the promotion of Economic Development within the States through research development, organizing targeted/customized fairs, seminars and workshop among members.
The Newly appointed DG, Awotipe serves as the Group Managing Director of Mayframe Group, which comprises of Mayframe Investment Ltd., A sub-stock broking and financial management company. Mayframe Consultancy Services, a management and business development consultancy firm, Mayframe driving academy: a professional driving school in Nigeria based in Osogbo, Osun state, Mayframe farms and Mayframe Property Development Company.
Awotipe is a graduate of Banking and Finance and an alumnus of Academy for Entrepreneurial studies. With over 18 years working experience cutting across Property Development, Banking, Marketing, Business Development, public private partnership consulting and host of others. He has garnered experience in Entrepreneurship, Human Capital Development and Consulting.
He is passionate about youth development and entrepreneurship and its role in the positive transformation of his home country. He has a vision to build a world on youth capacity and entrepreneurship with a mission by consistently advocate, train and develop entrepreneurs in Nigeria emerging economy.
In 2016, He was the first to convene Global Entrepreneurship Week in the state of Osun, with an average attendance of 250 participants and also run different capacity building training for youth as his corporate social responsibility. In 2017, He was decorated as the Best Global Entrepreneurship Week partner in Nigeria and also awarded Best youth in Entrepreneurship in the state of Osun.
Awotipe is a social commentator, a public speaker and an inspiration to youth and a regular entrepreneurship and financial analyst every Monday morning by 9am on OSBC TV with measurable impacts in all the south western states.
He is a member of several professional bodies, Fellow Institute of Management Consultant; Member Institute of Information Management-Africa; Member Academy for Entrepreneurship Studies and host of others.
Awotipe, whose appointment as the Director General, ODU’ACCIMA will take effect from January 2020, is expected to bring all round development to the region.
