The United States has said it will continue to promote stronger trade and commercial ties with the Africa Continent.
This is contained in a press statement issued by the Public Affairs Section of the United States Consulate in Lagos to commemorate the Africa Day, a yearly event to mark the founding of the Organization of African Unity, now the African Union.
The statement added that the Africa continent has made significant democratic and economic strides since the AU was formed about 56 years ago. since the AU was formed.
The US promised continuous collaboration with African countries, “we are proud of our partnership with the governments and people of Africa, and we’ll continue to work with them to advance our common interests and goals.
We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the AU’s vision for a free and prosperous continent.”
