In commemoration of the 2022 International Youth Day, the African Foundation for Peace and Love Initiative (AFPLI) is holding an interactive seminar with the aim of empowering and increasing the participation of young people in addressing the various socio-economic challenges facing youths and enhancing peaceful co-existence within their immediate community.

The Founding President of AFPLI, Rev Titus Oyeyemi in a press statement explained that the seminar is themed: “Stand up, Speak out Act”, which would help to drive youth engagement and participation towards achieving sustainable development goals.

Oyeyemi added that AFPLI will want to empower young people to Stand up, speak out and take action to influence positive change. We will be bringing two speakers who will not only motivate, and inspire young people but will share their own experiences in leading positive change not only in Nigeria but across the African continent.

Speakers at the event include the co-founder of the International Climate Change Development Initiative (ICCDI Africa),  Olumide Idowu, a media consultant and practicing journalist with BONews Service,  Blessing Oladunjoye, and a Development Journalist and The Programme Coordinator, AFPLI, Adeola Ogunlade.
