Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), has called on Women at all levels and professions across the country to partake in its forthcoming power packed annual conference at Eko Hotel & Suites between 7th and 8th November, 2019.
The 2 day program which marks its 18th conference this year is targeted at over 3000 women as participants; Women in Management, Business and Public Service, Men are as well invited. Themed “Shaping the Future: Strategising to Win”.
WIMBIZ is a non- profit organisation that has over the last 17 years, implemented programs that inspire, empower and advocate for greater representation of women in leadership positions in the public and private sector.
It also have contributory associate pool of over 750 accomplished women in management, business and public service and over 9,700 women in its database.
The conference will host 50 professional speakers within and outside the country to address key skills to equip the women with winning strategies and hands on knowledge to take on new challenging roles, explore emerging business opportunities, as well as Buliding and sustaining a successful career.
Preceding the conference on day one is Networking Breakfast, where participants will learn how to make a stellar one minute elevator pitch as well as connect with influential individuals at the course of the program.
Olubumi Aboderin-Talabi, Publisher, Oliver Coast Books and Chairperson WIMBIZ Executive Council also Director, Punch Newspaper, alongside other associates stressed the need for women to participate in the conference, noting that it will avail women’s struggles in their respective fields and provide creativity for business and management.
Olubunmi noted that the Conference will teach delegates developing winning strategies to secure their seat at the table; discover how to collaborate to win, understand consumer behaviour, overcome trauma and silence shame, among others.
“They should expect value, practical tips on how to strategie to shape the future they desire for themselves and for our country in Nigeria”, she said.
