The Lagos State Ministry of Health has recognized the Public Health Sustainable Advocacy Initiative (PHSAI) for its efforts to improve women’s health.
At a Grant Management Office meeting held by the Ministry in Lagos, PHSAI received a Certificate of Recognition lauding its “unwavering commitment to enhancing women’s health.”
PHSAI highlighted its key activities and accomplishments from 2023 ahead of the certificate presentation. This allowed the Ministry to see the tangible impacts of PHSAI’s programs and interventions tailored to the healthcare needs of women in Lagos.
In his opening remarks, the Lagos Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, commended partners like PHSAI for their “tireless contributions” toward better health outcomes for Lagosians. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s readiness to foster such collaborations.
This recognition underscores PHSAI’s role in advancing women’s health within Lagos State through innovative programs and strategic interventions.
