THE FATHER OF A US STUDENT FREED BY NORTH KOREA THIS WEEK SAYS HE DOES NOT BELIEVE THE GOVERNMENT’S EXPLANATION FOR HIS SON’S COMA.
 
THE NORTH KOREA GOVERNMENT HAD SAID OTTO WARMBIER, WENT INTO A COMA LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF AN ILLNESS; BOTULISM AND A SLEEPING PILL HE WAS GIVEN AFTER HIS TRIAL.
 
MEANWHILE, OTTO HAS BEEN RECEIVING TREATMENT SINCE HE RETURNED TO THE US ON TUESDAY AND THE MEDICAL CENTRE WHERE CLAIMED HE SUFFERED A “SEVERE NEUROLOGICAL INJURY” BUT IS IN A STABLE CONDITION.
