The Commander of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), Mr. Olusola Jimoh Olawale has admonished Nigerians to always live in peace and unity with one another. He added that every individual needs to ensure adequate security exists in their communities.
Mr. Olawale gave the advice during the parade which was held at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos to commemorate the Nigeria’s independent day.
The commander buttressed that all security agencies are working earnestly to ensure a peaceful existence among Nigerians. He quipped that the Vigilante Group of Nigeria has been able to reach out to local communities, hence providing adequate security to residents.
He ceased the opportunity to appreciate the Nigerian Police Force for its support whenever their help is required. “We are close to the masses because we operate at the grassroots, the police and SSS have been very supportive whenever we request for their help, and we have been able to achieve tremendous success”, he explained.
Mr. Olawale promised that the VGN will continually try it’s best to ensure adequate security of lives and property in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
