As the world celebrates International Youth Day 2025, Dr. Mustafa Adedeji Tukur, Lagos State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), has called on Nigerian youths to lead with creativity and patriotism to drive national progress.

Speaking on the theme “Youth Empowerment for Sustainable Development,” he described youths as Nigeria’s greatest asset, urging them to harness their energy and skills for the country’s growth.

Dr. Tukur encouraged young Nigerians to reject social vices, embrace civic responsibilities, and uphold values of hard work and innovation.

He praised their achievements in technology, entrepreneurship, and community service, noting these efforts as vital for tackling unemployment, insecurity, and environmental challenges.

Reaffirming NOA’s commitment, Dr. Tukur highlighted ongoing programmes to foster leadership, value reorientation, and responsible digital engagement.

He urged youths to see themselves as change agents shaping Nigeria’s future through their actions.

Expressing confidence in their resilience, the Director emphasized that with creativity and patriotism, Nigerian youths could transform challenges into opportunities for national development.
