In commemoration of the International Workers’ Day, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL) has lauded Nigerian workers for their exceptional contributions to global commerce. BASL, the operator of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2) in Lagos, expressed its appreciation for the creativity and resourcefulness of Nigerian workers in a press release issued by its Head of Corporate Communications, Oluwatosin Onalaja.
The company acknowledged the significance of Nigerian workers in world trade and commerce, but also called for improved motivation and enabling environment to harness their potential fully. Despite the challenging economic situation in Nigeria, BASL commended the tenacity, innovation, and ingenuity displayed by Nigerian workers and entrepreneurs across different sectors.
BASL’s Management highlighted the importance of providing the right infrastructure to support Nigerian workers and enable them to achieve greater heights. According to the company, the right support and enabling environment would contribute significantly to the development of the country’s economy.
BASL also recognized its workforce of over 400 employees, who are committed to delivering safety, security, and comfort to the over 10,000 travelers, concessionaires, and other users of the MMA2 Terminal in Lagos daily. The company commended its long-serving staff and sent special admiration to the 35 staff who have stayed with the service for as long as 16 years.
