Vice Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, popularly known as UAH, has emerged as the Ifako-Ijaiye Personality of the Year 2020.

UAH was awarded at the 2021 Lagos Mega Youth Festival held in Oshodi-Isolo for his grassroot developmental initiatives and numerous impacts especially within few days in office as Ag. Executive Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government (From November 22, 2019 to February 10, 2020).

The Project Director of the group noted that the 6th Edition of the event was dedicated to young persons advancing the course of good governance in Lagos State.

The awardee, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, was commended for representing the youth constituency effectively by creating limitless impacts through governance of the Local Government.

“Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat didn’t leave any vacuum in leadership. He stepped up the pace of development in the Local Government and positively touched the grassroot with lots of impacts. He is a true Democrat, hence our decision to award him amongst his peer”

Receiving the award on behalf of Prince Usman, Mr. Afeez Mustafa attributed the sterling Leadership qualities and impacts created by the awardee solely to God’s grace and advice taken from people around him whom he listened to regardless of their status.

He also implored all groups, youths and Community leaders to join Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat and the Local Government in quest to deliver the Democratic dividends across board.
