Unlike conventional production studios, EFANDR combines multiple creative services under one roof.
The facility functions as a production studio, equipment rental centre, talent management platform and practical training academy, allowing creators to access professional resources that would otherwise remain beyond their reach.

From Engineering to Storytelling
Originally trained in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, his career took an unexpected turn after discovering photography, a passion that eventually opened the door to filmmaking.
Determined to refine his craft, he later pursued professional filmmaking studies at the Cape Town School of Photography, South Africa, an experience that broadened his creative perspective and strengthened his technical expertise.
Telling Stories That Matter
Beyond commercial productions, Owolabi has become increasingly passionate about documentaries that spotlight overlooked communities and celebrate authentic Nigerian stories.
His latest documentary, which is premiering on YouTube, explores the lives of fishermen and market women in a little-known fishing community in Lagos State.
Among his upcoming productions is a short film addressing discrimination against people living with albinism, alongside another documentary chronicling the remarkable street football culture in Abeokuta, where local tournaments attract thousands of passionate supporters.
Investing in Nigeria’s Creative Future
While filmmaking remains central to his career, Owolabi believes his greatest legacy will be the people he helps develop.
This conviction has inspired the launch of the EFANDR Lagos School of Photography (LGSP) Holiday Creator Bootcamp 2026, an intensive practical training programme designed to equip young Nigerians with industry-ready creative skills.
Holding in August, the bootcamp will offer hands-on training in photography, filmmaking, video editing, graphic design, content creation, artificial intelligence for creators, sound production and other digital media disciplines.
Graduates will receive professional certification, develop industry-standard portfolios, gain valuable networking opportunities, and may also be considered for internship placements within the EFANDR ecosystem.
Preparing Creatives for Tomorrow
Even as artificial intelligence continues to reshape creative industries worldwide, Owolabi sees innovation as an opportunity rather than a threat.
Instead of resisting technological change, he believes creatives must embrace new tools while strengthening the uniquely human qualities of imagination, storytelling and emotional connection.
His long-term ambition extends beyond commercial success.
He hopes to expand training opportunities for young Nigerians, people living with disabilities and children with Down syndrome, ensuring creative education becomes more inclusive and accessible.
