Shepreneur Africa Award, a trademark initiative of the Kreative Arts Foundation for Community Engagement, has continued its drive to empower young women through entrepreneurship by hosting an inspirational seminar at Federal Government College (FGC) Ijanikin, Lagos.
The event held under the banner of the SHE 4 Entrepreneurial Seminar, formed part of activities marking the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The seminar brought together seasoned facilitators who delivered insightful and motivating sessions to the students.
One of the speakers, Abirero Ighodo, addressed the theme “The Mindset of a Future Entrepreneur,” encouraging participants to cultivate resilience, creativity, and a problem solving approach as they prepare for future ventures.
Ambassador Willie Workman Oga, the Executive Director of Shepreneur Africa Award, also delivered a powerful presentation on “Self-Esteem as an Entrepreneur.” He emphasized the importance of confidence and self-belief in entrepreneurial success, stating, “We are committed to creating a supportive ecosystem for women to thrive in business.”
A cross section of female students actively engaged in the seminar, which included an interactive Q&A session, allowing them to ask questions, gain clarity, and connect directly with the facilitators.The atmosphere was described as energetic and empowering, with many students expressing excitement about the possibilities within entrepreneurship.
According to the organizers, the core objective of the event was to equip young women with the confidence, mindset, and foundational skills needed to transform their ideas into sustainable business opportunities. The seminar also exposed participants to networking channels and resources essential for growth in the entrepreneurial space.

The organization continues to provide mentorship, training, and access to funding, ensuring that young women are supported at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
Speaking further on the initiative’s impact, Amb. Oga expressed optimism about its long-term benefits, adding, “Our seminar at Federal Government College Ijanikin Lagos was a huge success, and we look forward to continuing to inspire and empower young women across Nigeria.”
