In celebration of this year’s Human Rights Day and the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), Paradigm Initiative (PIN) is set to unveil its fourth impactful short film on December 10, 2023. Inspired by insights from the Londa 2022 report, the film aims to shed light on digital rights and inclusion issues across 24 African countries.
Having premiered at the prestigious 2023 Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, PIN’s films have become a powerful tool for sparking conversations on critical topics within the digital rights and inclusion landscape. The Web Summit, which drew over 70,000 tech enthusiasts and industry leaders, provided a global stage for PIN to showcase its commitment to addressing pressing issues.
Known for their previous films, “Training Day,” “Focus,” and “Finding Diana,” PIN continues to leverage storytelling to raise awareness. “Training Day” delves into the moral dilemmas of the tech industry, while “Focus” explores the repercussions of internet shutdowns and cyber threats. “Finding Diana,” the latest addition, unfolds the gripping tale of a journalist risking her life to expose a high-profile data breach.
PIN’s cinematic endeavors have not only resonated with audiences but also earned acclaim in the form of awards, with “Finding Diana” securing a Bronze recognition at the 2023 Summit Creative Awards.
