Olamipeju Adekunle, host of “The Girls Show” on GOtv is set to hold the 21st edition of the National Young Women’s Summit.

Billed to hold on October 11, which coincides with the International Day of the Girl Child, the summit will feature public figures like Banky W, Veekee James, Juliet Ubanatu, and others along with medical professionals will address important topics.

According to the Convener, Olamipeju Adekunle, the Young Women’s Summit which started at the University of Lagos, has touched the lives of over 50,000 young women.

Adekunle in a statement to announce the summit said the primary objective is to inspire and provide timely information to assist young women in navigating life’s challenges.

She said “Many of us can relate to the costly mistakes we made while growing up simply because we lacked the guidance of experienced women. This is why we are dedicated to hosting this event for young women.”

Adekunle explained that “our program includes showcasing talent, interactive games, and captivating storytelling sessions. In addition, we will provide essential raw food materials and sanitary products to support students facing ongoing hardships.

“By attending this conference, young women will gain firsthand knowledge of sex education, learn how to protect themselves from sexual harassment, and receive answers to their pressing questions.”

She urged Nigerians to support the programme by donating towards the successful hosting of over 2,000 students who will be greatly impacted during the various sessions.
