The Network of African Christian Journalists (NACJOURN) has commiserated with family, friends, and congregrants of Senior Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church.
In a statement released by NACJOURN’s president, Dr. Bola Adewara, and secretary, Mr. Dayo Emmanuel, the group noted that the passing of Pst Odukoya is his transition to a heavenly abode, celebrating his reunion with the Savior he devoted his life to serving.
The group says it finds solace in the belief that Pastor Odukoya’s passing was a fulfillment of his desire to be with Jesus.
“While the news is tinged with sadness, NACJOURN chooses to emphasize the remarkable life Pastor Taiwo Odukoya lived, sharing his unwavering faith and inspirational journey,” the statement reads in part.
The statement underscores that his legacy as both a spiritual leader and mentor will forever influence the lives he touched, adding that “the impact of Pastor Odukoya’s leadership is described as immeasurable, extending beyond the confines of the church. Not only was he a guiding force for Fountain of Life Church, but he was also a cherished mentor to many and a dear friend to journalists. His dedication, compassion, and wisdom left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he interacted with.”
The group extends its unwavering support to the grieving family and members of Fountain of Life Church.
